Self-Employed Mortgages

Even when working for yourself, you can still get a mortgage.

Getting a mortgage while self-employed

On average, 1 in 10 working-age people in the UK are self employed. Whether you are a Sole Trader, a Director of a Limited Company or in a Partnership, obtaining a mortgage doesn’t have to be complicated.

While most lenders require at least 2 years trading accounts, it is possible to get a mortgage if you’ve been trading for only one year. If your latest years accounts are showing less than the previous year, there may still be options available to you.

Why not get in touch so that we can discuss your personal situation and find the right mortgage for you.
